Failed to open stream: Permission denied
I'm having troubles installing Selfoss. I keep getting the error below. I think it has something to do with the .htaccess, but I can't figure out what. Mod_rewrite is on, by the way.

You have to give write permissions to the public folder (chmod). On the first execution of selfoss all javascript and css files will be compressed and cached in the all.js and all.css files.
