Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatefromstrin

Hi there,

Another refugee from Google Reader collapse trying to find some means to continue as it was before.

I've been trying to install and run selfoss from a Rasbperry Pi Rev1 with Sqlite and lighttpd.
Up until now it runs, sometimes showing only data, others with the correct look and feel. Can't understand why it changes the behaviour.

Anyway, I've been able to upload my opml and when I try to update I get the error:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatefromstring()"

I've activated the logging and it doesn't show anything strange, but here goes the last few lines:
3-17-13 21:45:49 Debug start insertion of new item "G-Shock #12: G-Ometria."
03-17-13 21:45:52 Debug item content sanitized

Any idea of what I might be doing wrong?

Thank you all,
Mnl

You'll need the GD library for PHP. On my machine (Debian-based) it's called php5-gd.
Then restart the web server.

Hi MidSpeck,

Thanks for the help, unfortunately the problem still persists.
Which libraries should I install besides the "obvious" ones?

And... Answering my own question...
After installing php-gd, one *must* enable it before it actually does something.

Duh. :)

Thanks MidSpeck, problem solved.

Mnl
